Wicked! cheers for this!!
nice dude ;) !
It's a shame the ripper lacks the skills of the likes of Mad Martha, who's high quality 720 HDTV rip of Doctor Who, etc., are the exact same size as the regular rips (350MB).

Maybe you could ask her for some lessons, because this is a ridiculous file size for a TV show.

Is there something I can do when the audio and video get out of sync on my machine? Is it my machine, my player, my settings? I'm just using WMP to play my vids. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
foomonger: It all depends on what quality you're after. Larger files equal less information about the video and since 720p is 3-4 times as large a resolution as "standard" TV, that means each pixel in the compressed video has that much less information.

However, I *would* personally prefer 700MB per episode, so they could (theoretically) fit on a CD - but I do understand there are audio-/videophiles who need their extreme quality rips. :)
krisfrom: in the other hand, DVD now cost almost as much as CDs, so for the same size, CDs are more expensive ;)
krisfrom, yes, of course it's all about quality, that's why we use these new super-codecs, right?

As I said, MM's Dr. Who rips are TOP quality, 720p, and only 350MB. It takes skill.

dioxholster - to archive them!

Roll on cheap Blu-Ray writers!

Hey, can someone help me with codecs here? I have the CCCP (all default settings) but I can't get the MKV to play in WMP, media player classic or Zoom.
I have some other MKVs which work fine so I guess there is some etting I need to tweek.
